Grant William Robicheaux
Grant William Robicheaux, a Californian surgeon, and his girlfriend, Cerissa Laura Riley, have been charged with the sexual assaults of two women in 2016.

However, investigators suspect there could be “hundreds” more victims who police are trying to identify from videos on the couple’s phones.

Robicheaux and Riley allegedly used their “good looks and charm to lower the inhibitions of their potential prey” working “in tandem” to meet women in bars, drug them or coerce them to drink large amounts of alcohol and then bring them back to his apartment to be assaulted.

Thousands of video clips on their phones show that the women were “highly intoxicated beyond the ability to consent or resist and they are barely responsive to the defendants’ sexual advances.”

They have also been accused of possessing a large quantity of drugs including GHB (which is considered to be the “date rape” drug), ecstasy and cocaine, as well as unregistered firearms.

The couple deny the allegations saying: “such allegations do a disservice to, and dangerously undermine, the true victims of sexual assault.”

A US Border Patrol Agent, Juan David Ortiz, has been arrested in Texas on suspicion of killing four prostitutes after a fifth woman escaped from him and contacted the police.

Webb County Sheriff Martin Cuellar said it was believed that Ortiz had acted alone and that investigators had “very strong evidence” that he was behind the murders: “The county, the city can rest assured we have the serial killer in custody.”

Ortiz faces four charges of murder and one of aggravated kidnapping.

The cause of death was similar in each case and investigators are now trying to find a motive.

A Texas man who played a central role in making 3D printed weapons available has been charged with sexually assaulting a 16 year old girl.

A warrant was issued for Cody Wilson’s arrest but he flew to Taiwan before he could be detained.

The girl alleges she was paid $500 to have sex with him in a hotel in Austin.

Dr Christine Blasey Ford came forward to say she was the one who anonymously claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh when they were in high school.

Dr Ford described being at a party when she was 15 and the 17 year old Kavanaugh “pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it and when she tried to scream, he put his hand over her mouth” (quote from the Washington Post) while a friend of his watched.

Dr Ford went on to say that she managed to break free but “I thought Kavanaugh might inadvertently kill me”.

Dr Ford has agreed to an open meeting with the Senate Judiciary Committee to be questioned about the alleged assault.

She has asked that Kavanaugh not be in the room when she testifies.
