Princess-Victoria
French photographer Jean-Claude Arnault has been accused of groping Crown Princess Victoria, heir to the Swedish throne, at an academy event in 2006.

The royal family have not commented on it but instead issued a general statement supporting the #metoo campaign.

Arnault has faced numerous allegations of sexual misconduct but has denied them all.

Stormy Daniels is suing Trump over this “defamatory” tweet about alleged threats against her: “A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!”

The suit says the tweet is defamatory because it accused Ms Daniels of “committing a serious crime” – namely, falsely accusing a person of threatening her.

Roy Moore is suing the women who publicly accused him of sexual misconduct last year.

He alleges the women were part of a “political conspiracy” to undermine his 2017 US Senate campaign in Alabama.

Moore’s lawsuit – filed jointly with his wife – includes counts of negligence, wantonness, defamation, negligent infliction for emotional distress, intentional infliction of emotional distress, outrage, and civil conspiracy.

Ashley Judd is suing Harvey Weinstein, claiming he damaged her career in retaliation for her rejecting his sexual advances.

The lawsuit accuses him of defamation, sexual harassment and violation of the California Unfair Competition Law.

Ms Judd was in the first group of women to make allegations against Weinstein.

Netflix producer of Marco Polo, Alexandra Canosa, has filed court documents alleging Harvey Weinstein raped, sexually assaulted and verbally abused her over a five year period.

Weinstein (predictably) denied the claims calling them “mystifying” and “deeply upsetting”.

Author Junot Diaz has withdrawn from Australia’s Sidney Writers’ Festival after another US author, Zinzi Clemmons, accused him of sexual harassment.

Ms Clemmons alleged Diaz had forcibly kissed her six years ago.

Two other female writers have since accused him of misogynistic remarks.

Diaz said he took responsibility for his past.

Bill Cosby and Roman Polanski have been expelled from the US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The academy which runs the Oscars said this was done in accordance with its standards of conduct.

Neither Cosby nor Polanski have publicly reacted to the academy’s decision.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has signed into law a bill banning most abortions after a fetal heart rate is detected which is usually around the sixth week of pregnancy.

Any woman seeking an abortion must have an abdominal ultrasound scan and if a fetal heart rate is detected she is barrred from having the procedure.

This means that it will be illegal to have an abortion before most women realise they are pregnant.

Among the few exceptions are if a woman was raped or a victim of incest but only if she has reported that to the authorities.

Planned Parenthood has said it will file a lawsuit to block the law.
