Michigan State University has settled hundreds of lawsuits filed against it by survivors of MSU doctor Larry Nassar’s sexual assaults.

The school will pay a settlement of $500 million which will compensate all 332 of the current claimants but will hold in reserve $75 million in case any more survivors come forward.

It is not yet known how much money each survivor will receive.

Paulette Jordan, member of the Coeur d’Alene tribe and state senator, has won the Democratic nomination for governor of Idaho.

If she wins the general election in November she would be the country’s first governor to come from a Native American tribe.

MTV show Catfish has been suspended following allegations of sexual harassment against its host Nev Schulman.

The woman concerned posted a YouTube video claiming Schulman “picked apart” her lesbian sexuality and propositioned her for sex.

He denies the allegations.

Stephanie Adams, a former Playboy model, and her 7-year-old son have fallen to their deaths from the 25th floor of the Gotham Hotel in Manhattan.

Investigating police think it’s likely to be suicide.
